Social responsibility is one of the core goals of the University of Manchester, and the Keavney group plays an active role in this. Many members of our group are heavily involved in running the Division of Cardiovascular Sciences social responsibility programme which focusses on widening participation & outreach, sustainability, and fundraising for the British Heart Foundation. Our group members also get involved in activities in the wider university such as acting as tutors on the Manchester Access Programme; taking part in Brilliant Club; or sitting on university EDI boards.
